LMU
LMU needed a more strategic and engaging digital presence to connect with younger alumni–specifically on Instagram. While some content existed, there was no consistent voice or unified strategy across platforms — especially during signature events where high-traffic periods were expected. We focused on creating a variety of content (i.e. actual posts and stories) to strengthen messaging that stoked nostalgia while remaining true to the vibrancy of the university’s brand guidelines.
My Approach:
Developed a cross-platform communications strategy tailored to alumni.
Launched targeted campaigns around key moments (e.g., grand reunion, alumni events, graduation, student affairs events)
Engaged community to co-create Reels and IG stories for more authentic engagement.
Revamped email communications for programs and events using segmentation and branded templates.
Collaborated with design and events teams to align messaging across social, web, and print.
