LMU

LMU needed a more strategic and engaging digital presence to connect with younger alumni–specifically on Instagram. While some content existed, there was no consistent voice or unified strategy across platforms — especially during signature events where high-traffic periods were expected. We focused on creating a variety of content (i.e. actual posts and stories) to strengthen messaging that stoked nostalgia while remaining true to the vibrancy of the university’s brand guidelines.

My Approach:

  • Developed a cross-platform communications strategy tailored to alumni.

  • Launched targeted campaigns around key moments (e.g., grand reunion, alumni events, graduation, student affairs events)

  • Engaged community to co-create Reels and IG stories for more authentic engagement.

  • Revamped email communications for programs and events using segmentation and branded templates.

  • Collaborated with design and events teams to align messaging across social, web, and print.
